When making a purchase, how do you weigh personal benefit against the ethical reputation of a company?

Depends on how bad the reputation may be, if it is just horrible I will avoid the business. If it isn't too bad I will ignore it.

We all balance multiple priorities and there is a limit to the amount of attention we can practicably devote to any one issue.

I really only think about myself, not corporate greed. Although I do like smaller companies.
