I think people would be more tolerant of those with different opinions and beliefs.

Compassion is an emotion whereas profit and success are measurements of materialistic wealth in today's society

If someone were to have compassion and understand someone else's point of view, I believe it would make things mildly better for us all. We are on the brink of a civil war between Democrats and Republicans all because they disagree. If both sides could stop arguing, we would have a kinder society.

Social norms would be directed to incompetent people. Highly regarded is an evil.
