How do you think your relationships would be different if you responded to conflict with a meditative mindset?

Well on one side of this, people would be more calm and collected, but I feel this would slow the decision-making process and harm society because meditation takes a while for some and when matters are pressing, time isn't your best friend. It would help, but not for issues that have a few days to be dealt with.

How might your friendships change if you and your friends started sharing meditation experiences?

How might establishing a meditation habit in your daily routine potentially alter your life five years from now?

 @9JK8QQJWomen’s Equality from Texas answered…4mos4MO

Many people need to stop and take a breather every once in a while. I don't think it will alter your life it might benefit it.

 @9JK8NJMDemocrat from Washington answered…4mos4MO

Can a technique like Transcendental Meditation really influence collective consciousness and reduce social problems such as crime rates?

 @9HCQS3H from Utah answered…6mos6MO

It might be able to do so, but only if people are willing to participate in it. It shouldn't be required.

 @9HCQQCN from Utah answered…6mos6MO

Yes I do believe that if everyone in society practiced meditation, if it was taught in schools, certain social problems would cease to exist.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…6mos6MO

Can you imagine a world where everyone meditates; what differences might you notice in society?

 @claireemilycook  from Iowa answered…5mos5MO

I do not think it matters if everyone meditates. Meditation is a healthy practice for many people of many walks of life. It is not for everyone, though, and it should not be touted as a solution to sociopolitical anarchy. We should encourage all healthy and peaceful coping mechanisms and practices in life, but it should not be politically motivated.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…6mos6MO

Should governments fund programs that encourage Transcendental Meditation, or should this be a purely personal choice without state intervention?

 @9H3WBKYRepublican from California answered…6mos6MO

 @9H3W9Q3CA Common Sense from Pennsylvania answered…6mos6MO

No government should even have anything to do with this. If you want bigger *** should the government pay for that .NO!!!!!!

Yes it could unify our community. It could bring joy and happiness within the community i am in.

 @9KMN7N4 from California answered…2mos2MO

I don't believe mediation practices would unify my community has many people have different personal views and ideals on things.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2mos2MO

How could sharing your meditation experiences with others enhance your practice and its benefits?

 @9LGGFHCDemocrat from Idaho answered…1mo1MO

I believe that meditation can be a good way for people to deal with their mental health, as for sharing it I think that it should depend on the person if they are comfortable sharing it. sometimes in sharing we strengthen others, other times it can hurt.

 @9LGGCYM from Arizona answered…1mo1MO

Honestly I'm not into all of that so I wouldn't really know. But, I bet it helps certain people but I'm not one of those people.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…3mos3MO

How do you imagine your creativity might flourish with regular meditation?

 @9L5QJK3Socialist from California answered…2mos2MO

Meditation allows you to tune out other factors of your life, allowing special focus on creative subjects which may have been restricted with normal life.

 @9L5Q5Z8 from North Carolina answered…2mos2MO

I don’t know about creativity, but it would certainly relieve some anxiety which has all kinds of positive outcomes.

Would you rather have a quiet space for meditation or a gym at your school, and why?

 @9K8N46Z from Wyoming answered…3mos3MO

Probably both but if I had to chose it would be a gym because it is important for kids to get exercise.

 @9K8M82YRepublican from Florida answered…3mos3MO

It depends on the person. Someone might like to exersize to focus or calm down, others prefer peace and quiet to "pull themselves" together.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…6mos6MO

Do you think meditation can provide a form of mental 'exercise' similar to how physical activity benefits the body?

 @9HL8Y8J from Colorado answered…5mos5MO

I think that can help with calmness and mental health but it won't help with physical benefits

 @ISIDEWITHasked…6mos6MO

In what ways do you think practicing meditation might influence your relationships with others?

 @9HHRSFM  from Texas answered…5mos5MO

Meditation could greatly improve the quality of our interactions. It creates space to be mindful of our thoughts by letting our very own thoughts go. It brings acceptance that we're all emotionally conscious beings, all living life in the first person.
