Thousands of Palestinian citizens have been murdered, bombed, targetted, attacked, tricked, and treated unjust by the Israeli's since the 1940s. More apartheid and unjust laws passed against Palestinians in ~1967. 2009-2014 thousands of civilians murdered. More recently, using attacks by Hamas as excuses to blame and target Palestinian civilians (ie. bombing the south after explicitly noting they would be safe there, bombing hospitals, claiming they did it, then later blaming Palestinians and faking evidence. Bombing Churches, arresting innocent families.)

Israeli jurisdiction and ownership of Jerusalem, however, is not recognised by the international community, including the United States.
Under the 1947 UN Partition Plan to divide historical Palestine between Jewish and Arab states, Jerusalem was granted special status and was meant to be placed under international sovereignty and control. The special status was based on Jerusalem’s religious importance to the three Abrahamic religions.

In the 1948 war, following the UN’s recommendation to divide Palestine, Zionist forces took control of the western half of the city and declared…  Read more

the US doesn't recognize a state of Palestine. Once it does (when they've given on their goals of destroying Israel and their terrorist means) there is no reason that part of Jerusalem will be considered the capital of Palestine while the other part considered the capital of Israel as it currently is.

Jewish people have a history in Israel well before any Muslims existed. Israel is the historical home and Jerusalem has always been their capital.

There is no recognized Palestine at this moment. A two state solution could be a goal and a capital could be shared. However the reality of history and current state is that Jerusalem is in Israel and is their capital.

The military invasion and occupation of Palestine has killed thousands if not tens of thousands of men, women, and children. Israel has invaded this nation, is killing its people, taken their land and freedoms. Israel should be condemned and persecuted internationally for its crimes against humanity.

the Palestinian people have lived in the area for thousands of years, and the Israeli state was created by imperialists to create a white ethnostate in the Middle East

Israel came into existence in 1948 as a Jewish state with a Jewish majority (before any Palestinians left Israel) therefore Israel has a right to exist as a country and Jerusalem has been the centre of that Jewish population long before 1948

There is no country called Palestine. There never has been. The property was sold in 1948 at four times the value according to British mandate.

Israel has rightfully owned their land for years now. They fought to win this land and they did win and it is now theirs. Jerusalem is the capital of Israel, which is NOT Palestinian land.

Al-Quds is the capital of Palestine, and will always be the capital of Palestine. Theodor Herztel (a white European *** decided that an indigenous population would need to suffer for the creation of a Jewish homeland, and in the process facilitated the dream of the european and american far-right that would facilitate the transfer of Jews from western countries into their own "new" country.

There is and has never been the existence of any Palestinian state. It wasn’t until the Ottoman Empire ended that the identity of “Palestinian” was ever established.
