No, the program is too far into production and service to cancel, but revise procurement procedures to avoid out of control and mismanaged costs with future military weapons programs

Yes but first fund development of a better replacement aircraft and only discontinue when the new planes are ready.

No, decrease defense spending in general but complete the F-35 program so as to not waste what has already been invested.

Given how small the national student debt is in comparison, I have a hard time supporting this program instead of forgiving student debt or incentivizing affordable healthcare. I want us to have the best military, but this is out of hand.

The decision to cancel the production of the F-35 fighter is a complex one that requires careful consideration of various factors, including national security needs, budget constraints, and technological capabilities.

 @9MJFBY8  from Indiana answered…4 days4D

The Government should continue production of the F-35 while cutting much of the currently planned upgrades so those resources can be used for other weapons development programs.

 @9MJ6R9B from Indiana answered…4 days4D

I’d put it to bed for a while until our debt decreases. How many more of those glorified cap pistols could we need?

 @9MGTSFR from Illinois answered…6 days6D

Apply independent review of the cost benefit analysis. Hold the companies accountable for breach of contract.

 @9MGL3BT from Oklahoma answered…6 days6D

No, but all further production should be postponed until the majority of its design problems are addressed and corrected. The US should work in partnership with other nations with F-35s in their fleets to overcome these issues, with these nations supplying some of the research and development costs as well. Having a fightercraft in our arsenal that is also used by the majority of our allied nations is advantageous, both from a logistics and supply perspective.

 @9MFX8R7 from Missouri answered…7 days7D

The government should seek to have the world's dominant military force, and as such, has the right to choose which tools it uses.

 @9MFX724Peace and Freedom from Missouri answered…7 days7D

Yes. The United States has graveyards of weaponry that goes unused and costs more money than one could ever conceptualize.

 @9MFMGP4 from Florida answered…7 days7D

Yes, it is inferior to it’s Russian counterparts and should be replaced by a new model that emphasizes reliability, practicality, and the ability to be repaired in the field
